Is BodhiBandh based on Ayurveda or science?
The measurements are based on sport science — HRV, resting heart rate and sleep analysis. The philosophy comes from India's pulse-reading tradition: listen to the body early and prioritise prevention over reaction.
How is a screen-free band different from a smartwatch?
A smartwatch puts apps and notifications on your wrist. BodhiBandh has no screen; it measures quietly and delivers insights through the companion app when you choose to check them.
What is HRV and why should I track it?
Heart-rate variability is the variation in time between heartbeats. Its trend can help you understand recovery, stress and adaptation. BodhiBandh compares your readings with your own baseline.
What does the recovery score mean?
The morning score combines signals such as HRV, resting heart rate and sleep. A stronger score suggests your body is better prepared for effort; a lower score suggests recovery should be prioritised.
How long does the battery last?
The current target specifications are 36 hours of continuous tracking, up to 72 hours in Low Power Mode and up to 17 hours of outdoor GPS workout tracking.
Is BodhiBandh waterproof?
It is being designed for sweat, rain and everyday use. The final certified water-resistance rating will be published with the production specification sheet.
Where is my health data stored?
The product is designed around India-based data storage and user ownership. The final privacy policy will describe storage, retention, export and deletion controls in detail.
Does it work with iPhone and Android?
The companion experience is planned for both iOS and Android. Final device and operating-system compatibility will be confirmed before shipping.
How much will BodhiBandh cost?
The displayed launch price is ₹11,999, compared with an intended MRP of ₹14,999. A ₹999 refundable pre-booking deposit is planned, but this form does not currently collect payment.
When does it ship?
A final shipping date has not yet been published. People on the reservation list will receive confirmed production and shipping updates first.
Do I need a subscription?
Any membership or subscription terms will be disclosed clearly before customers are asked to complete a purchase.
Is there a warranty?
The intended warranty is one year against manufacturing defects. Final warranty terms will be published before fulfilment begins.
